Here’s how you breed blog stalkers!
This is about the easiest Wordpress plugin I’ve ever installed and configured. It rewards your top commentators by keeping a tally in your sidebar with links to their sites. I’ve been getting a lot of comments from a wide array of readers, but not much action in repeat commenting for each individual.
Chances are you are seeing the same thing.
Comments still have to be approved, so don’t get ideas.

It’s a great plugin unfortunately it also brings in commenters that post for the sake of raking numbers and getting into that widget, as I have seen on numerous occasions on John Chow blog
But I do agree it is great for rewarding commenters for quality comments, as long as one can separate them from spam …
It is a shame there is not a plugin that would determine worthwhile comments and delete the rest. Unfortunately, I doubt that is possible. I find several classifications of commenters: First you have the ranters, then the flamers, then those that snipe your comment and finally those have have a point or something to contribute that is related and meaningful.
I do appreciate the efforts of those that have the talent to develop plugins. I have been in computers since 1957 when I was hired by IBM. I retired 42 years later but am still in computers.
