Hi
I couldn’t agree with you more, video’s are absolutely critical.
I’ve been using Traffic Geyser for about 9 months now, they added some new funtionality to it recently which is fantastic and (to my surprise) the price didn’t go up. The traffic to my site has increased substantially and I put this largely down to video marketing. Traffic Geyser makes video distribution child’s play, it does in minutes what it would otherwise take 2 or 3 days. I have some very good search engine rankings for my longtail keyword phrases too and that’s because I put them in the title and description of my video’s without being spammy.
I can’t stress enough the importance of getting involved in video production and marketing. I’m so interested in this that I even arranged a meeting with the multi-media production department at my local college last week and will be embarking on a short course their in the next few weeks.

Video is becoming more and more important.
I think of it as “Infomercials-On-Demand”.
With the written word and the visual of video… can be a deadly combo for sure.

I love your blog, Jack, because you find some crazy niche marketers. I followed John O’Hara’s link to his site, booking “tribute” bands in the UK and of course, video would, indeed, be a fantastic selling tool for a biz like that.

Hey Jack,
Yes, Video rocks! I’ve been dabbling personally for a few years, but we just recently went live with our first video on YouTube for an SEO client to help build their rankings, traffic and even (god forbid!) branding!
In the short time it’s been live, it has had close to 100 views with absolutely ZERO promotion on my behalf. Once I get some more time to distribute it across the other sites, plus do a little link building to the video, I am confident of plenty more traffic.
Plus, we’ve got plans to create another 50-100 videos for this particular client and distribute them everywhere on the net, so eventually we’ll own the market space we’re playing in
Anyway, thanks for the above vids. I will go thru them and pick up any new tips and implement them in our business.
