BlogCatalog announced tonight that they have acquired TweetFeed. (And here I didn’t even know about it having original owners!)
After yawning, I clicked the link in the email. I was fully prepared for a lame Twitter app because most of them disappoint almost as a rule.
I started getting perky when I looked through this and immediately saw application here. My linking brain went nuts. Sirens went off.
It is best to see it in action. I just used one feature of TweetFeed which gives you the ability to set up a sort of “watch list” of specific Tweets around certain keywords you set up. Pay attention to what’s at the top of each page.
Here are some that I set up tonight:
- Blog Success: All Tweets mentioning “blog success” key phrase.
- Friday Traffic Report: Finds all Tweets mentioning “Friday Traffic Report” key phrase.
- Jack Humphrey: Tracking, well, ME!
- Social Marketing: Tweets for “social marketing.”
- Link Building: Tweets for “link building.”
- Video Syndication: Tweets for “video syndication.”
- Article Syndication: Are you starting to get the picture? You can put any links you want at the top. That’s all I’m going to say!
Please don’t abuse this. Seriously.
