TweetFeed Is Pretty Powerful Link JuJu

by Jack Humphrey on Feb 25

BlogCatalog announced tonight that they have acquired TweetFeed.  (And here I didn’t even know about it having original owners!)

After yawning, I clicked the link in the email.  I was fully prepared for a lame Twitter app because most of them disappoint almost as a rule.

I started getting perky when I looked through this and immediately saw application here.  My linking brain went nuts.  Sirens went off.

It is best to see it in action.  I just used one feature of TweetFeed which gives you the ability to set up a sort of “watch list” of specific Tweets around certain keywords you set up.  Pay attention to what’s at the top of each page.

Here are some that I set up tonight:

Please don’t abuse this.  Seriously.

Jesus H. Christ Jack!
Why on earth would you reveal such powerful information? Don’t you know how to keep your fingers from leaking out *everything*?

Thanks for the tip… it’s most definitely useful. =)

Cheers!

Miguel – sorry man. Can’t help myself sometimes. And I had a bad post to make up for this week. :)

Jack,

I am at work, eating lunch only interested in reading but because you make these great posts, I have to sit up and add a comment.

This will be cool to add on personal Squidoo lens.

Thanks,

Hi Jack

I’m so confused by all the twitter applications that are out there, it seems like there’s a new one popping up every week. I’d kinda settled on ‘Tweetdeck’ although I still haven’t downloaded it and then you come along with this post and now I’m all over the place again. Tweetfeed sounds like a fantastic idea although I suspect it will be abused.

P.S. How do you get those ‘Stalk Me’ icons on your site? they look really cool!

Great tips as alway Jack. I just spread the message through ping.fm.

Tracking what is said is extremely important and while I see the email from BC, I failed to notice the obvious you just pointed out. Thanks!
