That’s my boy! Today he says, as he’s getting ready for bed, “Daddy, I learned something new today! When you touch something that belongs to someone else, it starts to become yours.”
I’m sure that’s not what his teacher meant or said, but that’s what he got out of it. His earnestness prevented me from correcting him on the spot. I figured his teacher would love hearing what he thought she was telling him in the morning when he goes to school.

You have to love kid logic, I remember my son saying at age 4 that if everyone drove as fast as they could there would never be traffic. lol.
