UAW actually attempts to create unique content by having you create up to three unique paragraphs for each article paragraph you write. I guess that’s like manually spinning.

Hi Jack,

thanks for that comment.
UAW actually attempts to create unique content by having you create up to three unique paragraphs for each article paragraph you write. I guess that's like manually spinning. The idea is that it'll create multiple unique articles from the different combinations of unique articles.
I think that SYA has similar functionality in that respect?

thanks,

Carlos

I haven't used UAW but from the name it sounds like it is based on the myth of duplicate content. Taking 1 article and turning it into 10 slightly different articles will never get all 10 versions in the top 10 of google. That's what you're buying when you buy into the dupe content myth. SYA is simply syndication, although Steve bought into the spinning thing too (probably from pressure by uninformed kool-aid drinkers) and offers a way to "uniqueify" articles. What you really want is coverage and SYA offers the best on the web.

Your statement "The two main visitors of such directories are website owners looking for content for their sites and newsletters and authors looking for places to get published." is very enlightening! Website owners tend to go to the top/know sites and not have to search for 'hidden' directories.
