Simplicity is complication in disguise. At least when introducing a “concept” to the masses.

Maybe “free” is the way to start. Test with free…if you can’t give it away, maybe it’s a good indication that it won’t be a top seller.

However, when you have a super niche product…a good idea may spread slower than anticipated but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad idea. It boils down to how much tenacity and income do you have to weather the storm before the flowers bloom?

- entertainment value (such a simple subject matter too)
- simplicity (anyone can use it easily)
- and…who wouldn’t want to send a “poo” to someone that deserves it right? (so they identified a simple target market)

I agree with you we all get to a point in our life when we want simplicity. It just makes it so much easier. We want things to happen yesterday and we don’t realize that it takes baby steps to get where we really want to be. I’ve tried to adhere to the K.I.S.S. approach in almost everything I do ( in life & internet). I agree that there are probably many great ideas that get shelved due to “over-thinking”.

Couldn’t agree with you more. The problem is we forget. We are impatient. We want instant result. That’s why we get frustrated. Lost and confused…sometimes..

We forget that the oak tree started from a tiny weeny seed. Yes, everything I believe started with an idea, no matter it may seem absurd in the beginning.
