Reader Appreciation

by Jack Humphrey on Mar 8

Take a look at some great Friday Traffic Report reader sites.

(I don’t have a crystal ball, so the only way I can single you out in a reader appreciation post is if you comment and I can check out your site!)

  • AskTak Blog: Takuya Hikichi is a regular at Friday Traffic Report and has a great blog focusing on blogging, marketing, content development and more.
  • WDR Marketing:  Dan runs a great blog on online business and blogging.  The site is very well done and easy on the eyes.
  • Direct Sales Web Marketing:  Dennis Edell has a great blog full of blogging tips.  Check it out.
  • Online Security:  Bill is the man when it comes to online security issues!
  • Fitness Black Book:  Rusty covers fitness topics in a way that doesn’t give you that “personal trainer” vibe some of us don’t like.
  • Mom Pays for College:  Great blog.  Another mommy blogger staking her claim on the web!

Would you like to be in the spotlight?  Just make sure you aren’t “lurking” and get involved in the discussion here at FTR.  I periodically scan my comments and look for reader sites to showcase.  You can’t win if you don’t play!

Jack,

Thanks for the link as well as the idea. There a lot of bloggers who comment on my site and this is a great way to give them recognition (as well as encourage even more participation).

Also…after putting off Twitter for over a year, I think I’m finally ready to give in. How did you get that “What is your Twitter ID” field in the “Leave a Comment Section”.

Thanks for the endless Ideas that you give on this site…not just what you write about, but the things that you do.

Cheers,

Rusty

Rusty – Thanks man! The plugin you want for the Twitter ID inclusion for comments is called WP Twitip ID. Rock on!

Thanks for posting. I’ve already found a few interesting articles on a couple of the sites you listed. Great stuff!

I wondered what the WP plug-in was, Twitip ID, and now I know. ;)

Reader appreciation is very good idea. I’ve never thought about that. This is a good way to motivate viewers to comment more often, which ultimately brings more traffic to your site. Great job Jack!

Thank you for mentioning my blog there Jack. Appreciate it. Jack is my hero and I follow wherever he goes. I came to know Jack back in the day when he released Power Linking or Power Ranking I can’t remember which one I bought.

Jack made me feel welcome when I met him in Vegas. I am nobody, and in the presence of Mike Filasaime and others, Jack made sure that I felt included in the gathering.

And if anyone is wondering what he really looks like in person — he is BIG — you’re right.

Albert – I guess I should note that I go down my recent pages of comments so my appreciation links are skewed toward RECENT comments, lol. If course when we get your guest post up, you’ll have the whole page as your stage!

Tak – I’m not big. Everyone else is little!
