Liz Tomey should be seeing several new visitors over the next 24 hours.
Here’s how this particular “shout out” went down…
- Liz did a write up on Authority Black Book,
- She did a Trackback to Friday Traffic Report,
- I got an email saying Liz wrote something about me,
- I read it,
- I liked it (of course), and
- I did 10 little things to promote her writeup with Web 2.0 tactics.
Follow that sequence again.
The result for both of us for this little bit of time spent should be a minimum of a few hundred targeted hits between us and several more links pointing to our sites from high traffic authority Web 2.0 sites.
This happens ALL the time around here. I send other people traffic with Web 2.0 tactics to show them I care, and sometimes to show them I can!
(Lots of skeptics out there on this topic, as you might expect.)
Anyway, Liz ain’t one of those skeptics. How could she be? She is the originator of the term “web20′ing!”
Am I just so altruistic that I do this out of the kindness of my heart? Am I crazy sending other people traffic?
You figure it out. Since my living is derived 100% from my business online, I have to get something out of giving away traffic and links.
