In recent years, Internet marketing gurus have been preaching that static websites are over and everyone hoping to profit free search engine traffic should build their website with a WordPress blog.
I like to let the cat out of the bag, and if you want to build any website I hope my markets Ignore this article, but in my opinion this is not true.
First, if Google loves blogs because only are the blogs, you'd think it would give priority to Blogger blogs, because they own Blogger. But do not.
Of course, WordPress is a lot niftier Blogger. It has a huge variety of plugins and themes. No serious blogger should be using anything other than WordPress. But there is no inherent reason why a WordPress blog automatically be preferred by Google for their search engine rankings.
At this point, proponents note that WordPress has plugins to optimize your WordPress blog engine search. The best known and one lets you set your mail names, and modify the title tag and put in the keywords meta tag and description.
Great – But with a static webpage. In fact, planning the directory structure and names of the pages and so on is a heck of much easier to customize the All in One SEO plugin.
Yes, a Google Sitemap plugin. But you can do to make your website automatically with the software online.
Personally, I think what Google wants is that WordPress blogs are maintained in a subject or topic. If you love cats and what each day a blog about cats and information about cats and nothing more, but cats, then Google can analyze your blog and see that they are cats. You rank well keyword cat because you stick to that topic, not because you're using WordPress.
However, if you write about your pet cat to-day today and tomorrow on a movie you watched and next week on his girlfriend break up with you … then Google sees that your blog does not focus on anything and not classified for anything despite being a WordPress blog.
Most websites are not so personal, but most are not well organized, and therefore did not do as well as could. For example, my website in the careers of computer contains a lot of pages on various topics of computer and technology, but not to organize the directories. I have lots of articles on programming languages on top of operating systems on top of hardware on the top of the basic terms data. When one directory had about 100 pages, I started another.
The WordPress has an advantage is the ability of visitors interact with your site and leave comments. If that is important to its business model, then you need a blog.
But if you want to put a small site in a well-defined theme that can make money, static sites are easier and I think just as effective. You rank and onpage optimization and off the links page.
