Gregory Ferenstein reports for Fast Company on 4 tips he gleaned from social media pros.
1. Anyone can get a more popular blogger to promote their work, but you have to give (a lot) first.
2. Raw honesty is a great social media strategy.
3. Use LinkedIn for unsolicited business opportunities.
4. If you want to network with the social media elite, be prepared to actually be a lot of fun. (I think he’s referring to the “rock star partiers” the social media players can be.)
Check out Gregory’s post here for the details.
Wish I was there!
