I am playing the odds here. But, barring readers like Brian Clark, Andy Beard, Michel Fortin, or Dean Hunt, I am reasonably sure that this 14 year old kid from the Philippines blogs better than you do. Probably makes more money than you do too. Sad yet?
In fact, if you didn’t know his age before you checked out his site, you’d never in a million years guess Carl Ocab was so young. He has better delivery than many people trying to make money blogging who are 3 times his age. He has a grasp of blog marketing that people doing this twice as long as him still haven’t mastered.
He ranks for keywords people have been trying to rank for for years. He’s #2 in Google for “make money online.” Not impressed with long tail? Aside from the fact that that makes you a dummy, then try “make money.” He’s #5/6 in Google for “make money.”
Although English isn’t his native language, you can easily get past the grammar and still come out the other end of one of his posts thinking it was better reading than most of what you’ve read on other blogs.

Don’t let your bias against reading the work of young or non-English-as-first-language people ruin this lesson for you. If a kid with everything in the world going against him (according to popular misconceptions about internet business and blogging such as age and geographic location) can do what Carl is doing, you, dear reader, have no excuses whatsoever.
Great job Carl! You kick ass.
To my readers: I have tried the positive reinforcement thing for so long, and I hear so many people complaining about how hard blogging or internet business is in general, that today it is time for tough love! Carl is rocking in a hard niche to rock for seasoned veterans. Your failure to “get it” beyond this point is all you. Don’t blame anyone but yourself.

OK- I think the best phrase that comes to mind is “eat some humble pie”. Great job- great blog, and I have kids older than him.

Carl is a great blogger and a really great guy as well, which is shown in the success he has had.
Congrats to Carl! Anytime a young person can make money in any fashion, it shows true determination on their part. Anyone in business online knows how difficult making money can be, and should respect this kids efforts. Study his business model to see what you can take from it and apply to your own businesses:) Success to everyone!

You are right Jack! Carl is really a teen blogger worth mentioning to illustrate that success does not have any relation with age. I too visit his blog quiet often (in fact I have found out your blog from their, I liked your blog too – hope to keep on visiting your blog too). There is a lot to learn from him.
