This is a useful reference list a favourite of mine is http://www.viddler.com as you can tag video. Also worth checking out is http://www.Overlay.tv this allows you to create hotspots on video clips with a link to your sales page so a person can purchase the item on the video. GoFish.com doesn’t allow video uploading anymore, they have changed their businessmodel and will now provide “best of” videoclips from mtv, comedycentral and others. no more user-generated content.

These are all unique and great video sharing sites. The only thing that i dislike about most video sharing sites is that many allow spam videos and duplicates. Sometimes its just hard to find what you want.

I started following your advise and that or the whole ASC crew more than one year ago, and it lead me to blogs of course, and video syndication and then social networking and although it was TIME CONSUMING and I did some WORK to get it rolling…
I now basically do NOT advertise (minimal ezine solos etc) but the traffic I generate from my blog, articles, pr’s and videos… feeds my site quality traffic of people who actual want to see and read my stuff…

nice site and post, go example of link bait…. Traffic geyser is a quality piece of software – there are some bugs in it’s system but by and large it is very good…..
I never though a simple page like this could bring in the money it does. But now that I look at it I see that the monetization aspects are built quite nicely into the content and doesn’t appear at all like a sales pitch.

Nice list. There are a lot of public video sharing sites out there but not very many sites to share personal video.
A great site for sharing family video is http://www.stashspace.com They offer secure invite via e-mail high quality video sharing so you don’t have to share your personal videos to the masses. They make it easy to share video. You can upload video from your camcorder, existing computer files, even send them tapes to add to your account.
