I just watched a super long video. That very rarely happens. But this one I got pulled into and couldn’t click away.
It is Jason Calacanis’ Keynote speech from Affiliate Summit. He’s talking about gaming search engines, SEO is bullshit, and how “curation” is the salvation of the internet. (His search engine, Mahalo, uses real people to rank sites rather than algorithms.)
Learn how Pay Per Post is the devil. Why Jason actually wants you to spam social networks and the engines. Learn how holding up a 6 figure check is pathetic and desperate. (Loved that one!)

One viewing and I feel as if I have been given the key to Aladdin’s cave.
What a shock – Calacanis really does reveal the secret path to the top, he gives the key not to hundreds of thousands of dollars, but endless millions.
Somebody had to do it, and no suprise that it was Calacanis. In fact this one lecture has completely changed the way I will be doing my blog launch later this year. Seriously. I’m thinking far longer term now, and aiming for maybe 100 times the market size at least.
One word can describe this lecture …. transcendant.

Jack, that was awesome, I started to watch with my morning cereal and insider’s the whole thing.
It has changed the way I will view some of my plans and gives me the confidence to continue with my flagship project.
Gotto make some money in the meantime so Affiliate Marketing is not out the door but MUST take a longer term view now. AND put some noughts on my thinking.
