Is Your Blog Mobile Friendly Yet?

Get More RSS Subscribers with Feedm8

You could have a ton more RSS subscribers if mobile users could get your content in a friendly format and easily subscribe from your blog.

That’s the pitch at Feedm8. And they are absolutely right. The measure of blogs, even more than the little green Google bar, is fast becoming the number of RSS subscribers they have.

Feedm8, a free service for bloggers, gives you the ability to easily attract more subscribers who want to read your stuff on their phones while on the run. Think waiting in airports for one!

Make More Money

Feedm8 also has a revenue sharing program that comes with their free mobile feed service. So if more subscribers doesn’t move you, money should. Reach more readers and make more money doing it. That’s what I call a badass service!

Take your blog mobile and earn more!

Thanks to Tom and Peter over at Web2Center for turning me on to this one!

    Thanks Jack,

Every little bit helps, and this is such an easy addon, I see no reason to not use it on our blogs!

    Jack,

Is the Mobile age for blogging and social marketing upon us?

    Is that your opinion?

It’s been upon us for awhile. I have mobile apps I use to check news that are simply rss feeds from websites that have been set up to properly recognize a phone visitor and display properly for tiny screens.

Lots of opportunity in this niche.for developers and website owners.

Perhaps I’m missing something, but how is this different from SmartFeeds (part of the Feedburner program) which sends out our RSS feeds to mobile phones?

Here is how Feedburner describes SmartFeed:

Reach the widest possible audience by consolidating your subscription links into one feed that works in any reader, on the desktop, web, mobile devices and beyond. SmartFeed™ goes with everything.

What does this service do that SmartFeed doesn’t?

The only difference I saw was the mobi code they give you to put in your template to tell mobile users right when they land here that there is an alternate view and show it to them.

Hi you guys n gals … I have just got to the page in the A B Book on Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question:
    What
    Why
    How

What! … are you doing? WoW… thanks for this run up to understanding? .. Understand!!

Why? … Because even basic updates are meaningful to family members, friends, or colleagues — especially when they’re timely.

Eating soup? Research shows that moms want to know.
Running late to a meeting? Your co–workers might find that useful.
Partying? Your friends may want to join you.

HOW? … With Twitter, you can stay hyper–connected to your friends and always know what they’re doing. Or, you can stop following them any time. You can even set quiet times on Twitter so you’re not interrupted.

Twitter puts you in control and becomes a modern antidote to information overload.

    Cool or WHAT … lol

As usual Jack, the information you share with your readers for free is invaluable.

I wish I had a magic wand to go back and retrieve all the money I spent on useless IM e-books and reports. The Friday Night Traffic report is providing me with all the tools, resources, and advice I need to grow my blogs, and it’s all free.

    Thank you so much.
