How to make more money with your blog…

by Jack Humphrey on Mar 25

I just finished a training video you’re going to want to watch if you are trying to figure out why your blog isn’t making the money it should be.

What’s in The Video?

  1. How to make better money with your blog with affiliate programs.
  2. Examples of “Clean Blog Pages” and “Asides.”
  3. Information I haven’t shared with anyone until today.
  4. The very best way to monetize your blog while staying a blogger and not turning your blog into a circus.

After you check it out, would love to hear what you think back here in comments!

Enjoy!

Thanks Jack,
I’m just getting started blogging and your advice makes a lot of sense. I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Thank you.

I couldn’t agree more with the reduction of noise syndrome. I’ve probably blown a lot of profits by putting too many widgets on my sites. But I want to do it right. I’ve just cancelled out on putting adsense into my forum and will be going in with some good pics and text. Thanks for that. The site is in its infancy I hope you take a look at it. http://bestlovesayings.net – you’ll find that it is going the same way as Rusty’s – when I get a chance to look at his properly.

I’m enthralled by the concept – and it makes such great sense to reduce the noise factor and the scammy nature. As you said a little but not too much. I’ve just decided against putting in adsense now, but may change later on. Will be investigating Rusty’s site for more input. My forum should benefit from all this info. its here if you want to see how Im implimenting this great video info.

It makes you see how valuable our ideas are doesn’t it?

Outstanding presentation with Excellent material!

Due to the fact that you are so truly knowledgeable and experienced with blogs, have you considered a video on the techie side of setting up a blog from start to finish? :)

Thanks!

From your reply above: training wheels??? That was classic! Thanks for the laugh! Oh, and if your readers are having writers block send them over to omgili.com, don’t ya think? :)

Good video Jack. Could you direct me to a page where you list the plugins you find most useful; addresses and what-they-do? That will be a big help :-)

Jack Humphrey Apr 13 at 5:16 am

@Sandeep – Here’s a page where I list Wordpress plugins I’ve reviewed and/or recommend. It’s not exhaustive, but has been recently updated.

Great video Jack. I “kind of know” what to do with a blog, but you’ve really opened my eyes. Looking forward to more.

Great Video! Great tips! After watching your video I can see why my blogs are not making much money. Most of my sites fall into the “party site” category. Watching your video gave me some really good ideas for how I can improve my conversions. I’m going to start implementing your mini course sites strategy immediately.

I’d love to know what elements you test on your blogs and how you go about doing the tests. I’m looking forward to see what you have in store next.
Thanks again,
Robert

global warming Apr 13 at 2:55 pm

Brilliantly presentation, but that leaves out a serious concern.
But take the word global warming, here we are doing research for the ultimate in energy. There is umpteen no of websites fighting for this key word. Which is a no, one word we would like to get. How can one other then through backlinks get to a spot on this word? When these are all tied up by big governmental institutions that really don’t have a clue how to solve global warming or climate change? Where we have taken over the research these unmoveable parasite stand , and now they do nothing but talk and don’t concern themselves with small research and pass the money between their friends ignore any effort by anyone else.

Hello Jack

I received an email from den-clicks which is one of the safelist
I use to get traffic to some of the affilate programs I promote.
I usally only click the links and then delete them once the timer
runs out however there you are on this video at your blognetworkassociation.com/live.html site and I must tell you I am
really empressed with the awesome No hype way you presented
the information about the network I’m a little pressed for cash at the moment but I’m going to work hard to try to get one of those domains
I think you guys have a great concept. I’m also looking into starting my own blog and you have already giving me some great pointers to think about. thank you so much for being there and I also wanted to
let you know that when I entered my info to join your email list it takes
me away from your blog man did i panic I thought I had lost you.

Hi Jack, enjoyed the video a great deal. Clear, concise, helps to focus on the essential. Wished I had viewed it even earlier :-)
Cheers, Beat

Great video.
I particularly like the description of how Rusty uses the mini-course method to build trust and increase conversions.
Thanks for the tip about creating a template without sidebars using the thesis wordpress theme.

Hey Jack!

Great video! I’m new to blogging and there is so much to learn, it’s over whelming at times. I will be taking what I learned (which is a lot) and I will be trying it out on my blog. Thanks again!
