How many Twitter slackers are you following?

by Jack Humphrey on Feb 27

Anissa passed on this interesting Twitter tool this morning:  Twitoria.

It shows you the people you follow who are inactive and for how long.  In short, the Slackers.  Twitter deadbeats.   Utter failures in life and business.  Useless, shiftless, bums who can’t be bothered to even utter 3 character blips of communication for months on end.  People who have pets with empty water dishes.  Yes, THOSE people!

You may choose not to follow bambam67 once you find out they’ve not tweeted for months (or ever!)

Or not.  Up to you.

In other news, check out the radio show today with me and Jim Stroud.  2 pm est on Blog Talk Radio.  We’ll talk about more tools recently discovered.  Plus, this is Jim’s week to rant about something.  I only hope he can think of something other than his iPhone to talk about.  :)

I do not get to twitter as much as I should. There is so much going on everywhere around the web it is easy to get caught up in the whirlwind.

I think I get more followers a week than I update in a week, But I am not on there just to collect followers.

I did give my dog some water this morning :-)

There certainly aren’t as many active Tweeters out there as some of the recent news would have us believe but when you do step into a community which is active, Twitter is a lot of fun. I’ve moved over to Tweetdeck with about 11 searches in order to keep an ear out for the kinds of questions and comments with which I’d like to engage. Keeping up with the general follow stream is nearly impossible now.

It’s all about being engaged. :)

I deleted my account recently, but an excellent app to install when I get back to it; thanks!
