Because many businesses grow from having a high profile in their market you may want to consider having a Blog Talk Radio Show of your own. BTR is a medium that offers a lot of possibilities to expand your reach.
By interviewing people in your market you will be seen as a more knowledgable authority. Birds of a feather in this case means people will tend to associate you with the interesting people you interview.
In the natural way that Joint Ventures are an outgrowth of getting to know people you may find these developing, I have.
The people who are stars in your industry are seen so as a result of how much what they say is seen and heard. You will find that people are very interested to get more exposure so will often jump at the chance to be interviewed.
Interviews are best conducted by speaking to people you really find interesting and knowledgeable. You will want to work out a set of questions before the interview and provide them to your guest beforehand.
During your interview some burning question may occur to you so don’t hold too tight to your list of questions. You may also find your guest gets off on a tangent sometimes, it is usually best to let them go with that because it is something they are passionate about and it will be good listening even if it is
outside your stated topic some. You may wnat to spend some time speaking with your guest before the show so you are both more comfortable. If you are at ease you will find your guest is too. If you are very interested in what they are saying they will be more interesting.
BTR provides a couple good instructional ebooks for you. One covers the setup.
The other book is about promoting your show,
When you set up your show make sure to do a search for shows like yours, then go to their pages and Favorite them and add them as a friend. This will help you promote your show. Of course you will want to tell your friends at Twitter, Facebook and if you have a list let them know.
If you take a look at the main page you may be supprised to see how many houshold name famous people have been on Blog Talk Radio.
One other nice plus is if you have an iTunes account all of your shows will be automatically available to all of iTunes so anybody can download it.

Excellent post on why it is important for any internet marketer worth his sale to have a social forum like Blog Talk Radio.
In fact, you’re being a guest on my BTR show “Internet Marketing Today’ on 11/01/2008 really shows how an informative and lively show can be done.
I agree with you that if someone hosts a BTR program, they should find guests that are informative and interesting. To date, I have been pleased to have a number of those type of guests including yourself.
