Life goal #236 has been checked off the list. “Meet Warren Haynes”
The Govt Mule concert in Kettering, OH this Saturday was absolutely incredible. Was escorted backstage, met the whole band, and had killer seats to boot. Special thanks to Rich Hill for hooking us up with his daughter, Kristin, who drives the Mule publicity van (one of the coolest jobs on the planet, I’d say!)
Biggest lament: Not ordering my “More Cowbell” t-shirt in time for the concert. Had to tell drummer Matt Abts about it instead. Fell short of the expected funniness. (Matt is a big-time cowbell junkie!)
Oh, and iPhone cameras are not for taking pictures of you and one of your heroes in low light behind the tour buses! Note to self: Sneak a real camera into next concert.

Dude… this is awesome. I’ve seen the Mule play a few times including Bonnaroo. Warren is probably in the top ten of all rock guitarist in my book. He can do it all and he’s a cool guy too.
