Most disruptive!

This reminds me of the days when street gangs congregate on small businesses and literally drive hard-working people out of town.

The internet social sites are like newly developing towns with gangs and individuals staking their claim on all that they see. They're smart but are mostly lazy and some are predatory, but mostly they are very cowardly. It has nothing to do with the have and have not argument.

The towns' police need to step it up with the help of the more vigilant folks to restore order, even if it means removing the vermin by simply rebuilding a site I had put up recently, and rebuilding it anew. Let's call it urban renewal.

Those cyber bullies can come back if they wish, but there will be new rules AND very firm anti-nastiness administration.

I am all for a safe and fair world for everyone. Let's take it back.

Great health and prosperity,
Stephen Chua.

Threatening another StumbleUpon Marketer's life over who rules the site as far as selling something is completely immature!

Pure social media users (they don't own any sites and they spend the whole day at sites like Digg, Reddit and SU) sometimes think that social media sites is their castle and they can do whatever they want to people who are trying to promote our sites there.

In turn, they become aggressive with subjects they don't like. And now, death threats, which is a complete dumb move by them.

This is whacky...!

Surely the SU moderators should root out this type of behaviour..? Not exactly in keeping with 'no hate' postings, now, is it...!!?? It probably infringes a few other of their T's & C's too...

Wow, I had no idea there were so many crazy people (and I mean CRAZY) in Stumbleupon.

The pathetic thing is, I'd be willing to bet almost none of them would have the guts to say anything even remotely similar to what they're posting there where they can hide behind their Stumbleupon name if they had the chance to do it face to face.

I haven't seen what kind of reviews this person was posting to Stumbleupon. They may very well have been spammy for all I know, but if that's the case get him kicked off (like he apparently did to one of the guys threatening him). Don't start threatening him with all kinds of nutty stuff.

I guess they've all forgotten that their jobs exist (if they even have jobs, I suppose) because somebody somewhere is marketing something. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic, the fact that they can't see the forest for the trees.

This is scary stuff. It ties into your earlier column about not marketing anything on your blog where you talked about "cyberhippies" who don't think anyone should be making money online. "Cyperterrorists" making death threats against marketers are the next logical step.

Idiots. Am I allowed to say that? Is that not politically correct? Too bad. People like this are so unbelievably arrogant it amazes me. They think they are too good and they are above silly things like sales and marketing. Everyone is selling and marketing all the time. And without it, these same people would be living in caves and most likely starving to death. We start selling and marketing before we can even talk in order to get what we want from our parents. We sell and market to our friends to be liked. Wel "sell" every day in our job in order to stay employed. And I don't mean sales people. I mean everyone. The receptionist sells to his or her boss everyday with his job performance. And the list goes on. Okay, I did have something more important to say but people like this are a pet peeve of mine and drive me nuts. Okay, rant over. Sorry Jack! Gregg
