It was bound to happen. There’s a brand new directory of Google Friend Connect enabled sites already.
Google Friend Connect Directory
It is a reciprocal directory, so you have to link it, so this post actually has two purposes. 
People are searching for more blogs with Google Friend Connect enabled, so it would be wise to pick up a link on directories that will surely be popping up all over just like this one.

Thanks for the tip, man. Much obliged. Just setup a Google Friend Connect account myself, installed the widget and requested a link on the directory.

Just to make sure I get this. You don’t get a link from the Google widget itself but you’ll get it from the directories where you can submit your site because you have the widget installed. Correct?

Well, that, and you get more people to join your community who use the directories to find new blogs to join. And you get to find new blogs to join yourself, which puts your face and blog links on a bunch of other GFC enabled sites.
Google Friend Connect looks like a terrific idea – I just added it to my site at http://RickButts.com/ and then opened my email to read that YOU’D just blogged about it already.
Of course you beat me to it Jackson.
What prompted me to think about the power of friend connect was that I looked over in my Gtalk menu and saw Tiffany Dow and realized I could click a button and chat with her – and that so many of my peeps are on Google already.
