John Reese comes through with a brilliant post today.
It is rare that I link to internet marketers’ blogs posts. Hardcore marketers are rarely good bloggers. If you come up in an era of clicks, conversions, moving traffic, moving people through autoresponders, joint ventures, and treating everything like it is a dollar bill, whether it’s a click, a view, or a human being, it is difficult for the heavy marketer to understand real blogging.
Normally internet marketer blogs are made up of thinly-veiled sales pieces, poorly disguised as content.
John is some sort of hybrid. He’s always seemed to genuinely care about his customers more than the average internet marketer. He also really blogs when he’s moved to do so, which, between traveling the world and enjoying his success, is very little. But when he does get inspired to share, he shares a lot. Like a pro blogger tries to do on a daily basis.
He’d make one hell of a blogger if he posted regularly. And I know he would if that was his passion. But after reading his post “How to Get Everything You Want in 24 Hours” I’ll take whatever, whenever he has it to offer.
I would print this out and stick it to your wall. Right over the list of things you’re putting off till “tomorrow.”
