Gary Vaynerchuk is about as serious about building brand and business as anyone can possibly be. In his book “Crush It,” the first from his unprecedented 7 figure, 10 book deal with HarperStudios, Gary outlines exactly the steps he recommends to do just that: Crush It!
I had a chance to sit down with Gary this morning for a Webside Chat, just before he got on another interview with one of the biggest media conglomerates on the planet, and ask him about some of the tactics and principles he shares in Crush It.
Many people were buzzing about the Tony Robbins, Frank Kern, and John Reese video in the last few weeks. That stuff was awesome. Well, this interview with Gary is certainly on par with that. Not because of my deft interviewing skills, but because Gary is on fire and he’s ready to show the world exactly how he mastered social media and unique branding tactics that brought himself and his business rockstar status online and off.
My advice: Drop what you are doing right now and listen to this interview. I guarantee Gary is going to change a lot of people’s view of how getting popular online and branding can work for them.
Then check below to find out how to win Gary’s new book. I bought a few copies and am giving them away to 3 lucky winners!

Great job Jack! Getting a top entrepreneur on your show is a major win. Thanks for letting me hear someone who I was unaware of. His thoughts on this is REAL WORK…was fantastic.
yo Jack-o..
Love the fact that Gary drives home the point of “it” being a marathon. I totally agree that the Internet has caused a lotta people to lose their collective sense of what fruition really is.

Gary is the man! I have been in his store (unreal) and watch his talks on Youtube….
First – thanks Jack, your passion brings us Webside Chats with people like Gary.
One of the last statements Gary made, I hope those of you in for the long haul picked up on. Gary indicated that there is going to be a shift, to the tune of a Trillion advertising dollars. Once the model(s) exists for advertisers to reach, their audience they will capitalize those existing targets and those dollars will flow through those models.
For example, say Joe is a raving car enthusiast, it is his passion, anyone interested in cars knows Joe, and are loyal followers. Many dollars are spent by the auto industry in advertising – their standard avenues to reach potential customers are drying up; however, a new well was tapped in the Internet. Joe has highly targeted followers…where do you think the shift in those advertising dollars are going.
Branding – another vital key point Gary touched on. When you think Jack…Friday, when you think Gary…Wine, when you think Dave & Bill…Who? Okay -Okay…CyberHood Watch – Do not Forget It! And the reverse is true in the above example. Do not make me type it out.
Actually, it is worth another thirty minutes to go back and listen to this Webside Chat again.

Jack,
I passed this along to about a dozen of the top fitness bloggers online that I’ve become friends with over the past 2 years.
Most of us who are getting 4,000-5,000+ visitors per day, gave for 2+ years before ever seeing any sort of major return. Gary’s message is so inspiring, because his message and what he has done is exactly what I’ve seen work with my own eyes online.
All of the successful guys in the fitness niche work long after many people go to bed. When you get in “creation mode” time stands still, it is extremely enjoyable. When I’m in the zone with a post or writing a free report, I simply feel good. Others who I talk to say the same thing.
What really rang home with me about Gary, was to be yourself and magnify your personality online. The people who flop in our niche are the ones who hide and don’t put their photo’s and bio out there. More than ever people like to see “real people”. I talk about brew-fests, eating Happy Hour food, and things that are supposedly “Taboo” in the Health & Fitness Industry.
Each and every successful blogger I know has their own personal style that comes through when reading their stuff…and they all work as hard as hell (and love it).
This was a really inspiring recording!

Rusty – I always say there’s no way to be different in a crowded niche unless you inject the only thing that is different: Your character, personality, and a willingness to work harder than most everyone else. All else being equal, the only difference maker is you. And you’re a perfect example of that rule of life and business!
David,
In my world, Dave and Bill DOES mean CyberHood Watch! And I am sure that is true with all the fans you guys have garnered over the years as well. And the circle gets bigger everyday. Thanks for listening man!
