There's not so much been a single element from FTR that has helped me, more a general mindset that is deepening exponentially. Thanks, Jack.

Hi Jack

I couldn't possibly list all the things I've learned by reading the FTR, I'd be here all week. Go on then...if you insist on twisting my arm! I discovered 'Traffic Geyser' after I landed on a previous incarnation of your homepage. The video used to be in the right hand corner near the top. I've used this service quite successfully ever since on the strength of your personal recommendation.

In fact, I booked one of our Motown trbute bands today because someone was searching on YouTube and came across the video that I uploaded, it resulted in me earning a commission of £172.50. I also had a client from Germany contact me today looking for a Justin Timberlake tribute act for Berlin. Again, they found a video of him on YouTube, if it comes off, I'll earn commission of £150. This client has control of 2500 venues across Europe, they would never have discovered our company if it hadn't been for the video distribution I've done by using the Traffic Geyser service that you brought to my attention.

I'm also going to install 'instant slide-up' on my site soon to see if I can increase the number of people subscribing to my newsletter. Again, I only found out about this script because you use it on your homepage.

I'm also looking to start my own podcast and your articles on this have been exrtemely helpful to me.

I could go on and on but I won't, you and your team are a credit to the industry, you always produce content that is top drawer, keep up the great work guys, you deserve all the success in the world.

"You were at 17,500. What do you attribute 12,500 RSS subscribers in less than 30 days to?"

Blogrovr.com - that's where most of them have come from. I was added by the guys over there as a recommended feed in the marketing section and as things took off for them (because they are a kickass feed tool!) they also started taking off for FTR subscriptions.

Tip: Try real hard to get into a feed reader's recommended or default list. I can only imagine what it would be like if FTR was listed in a couple more readers as a recommended feed!

Congratulations Jack!

So remember when I wrote the Blog Recommendation Engine article about Google Reader? You were at 17,500. What do you attribute 12,500 RSS subscribers in less than 30 days to?

Also can you let us in on what RSS feed reader FeedBurner is showing as your top aggregator and the percentage? I don't want you to give away the farm here, but can you give us a little insight?
