Fantasic Overview of Google Chrome OS

by Jack Humphrey on Nov 20

Chris Lang, Google sleuth #1, has put together a top-to-bottom review of Google Chrome OS (a completely cloud-based operating system set to revolutionize the computer industry).
Does “cloud computing” mean anything to you?  It will after you go through the overview from Chris.

“In the webinar, Sundar Pichai, Vice President of Product Management and Matthew Papakipos, Engineering Director for Google Chrome OS talked about how everything they use at their computers is thru the browser, EVERYTHING!” -Googling Social

What is Google Chrome OS?

The link to the entire 80 minute Google webinar is at the bottom of the blog post you linked to Jack, be sure to watch that at least 10 times. There’s way more to it than my top 10 I blogged about.

    It looks really cool.

Google is really trying to take over everything. Thanks for the video!

But how many people will use it? Probably a lot!

Google just released the full video and I embedded it in the blog post you linked to above Jack. I have watched it at least 10 times. It is two hours long but you will be able to see why this thing is going to rock on Netbooks. Can’t wait to get one, bet it’s out by next Christmas!

Next year the number one Christmas gift under your trees will be from Google. My latest Nostradamus Google prediction. Remember you heard it on The Friday Traffic Report first.

Chrome has become my favorite browser. Firefox is just too slow and laggy recently.

Takes less than 4 seconds for my system to load it. from time I press power to splash. I’ve only tried it on a fast machine and I also didn’t need to set bridged adapter… it just worked.
