Today’s rants, raves and thoughts center on Facebook and link building, Google’s new customization tool, and the decline of civilization via socially generated news and punditry.  (Yeah, we talked about that stuff, lol)

This is interesting. Just last night, I was talking to my mom and stepfather about the fact that we can generate an organic following, no matter what our product offering as long as we belong – at least – to Facebook and keep up a blog. While I do wish that I had become a FB user when I was first made aware of it, I also know that we are in a great position now as well because of the quality of tools available to us that were not available 1-3 years ago.

There are some freakishly revolutionary changes coming our way this year. Thanks for doing this interview. More people need to hear it or get left behind. I hate to say that, but it’s true. Also…I am not as concerned about privacy either because I am pretty safe in my work processes.

I cannot believe you were in my head regarding Facebook creating a kind of search engine for all users or an API for search for each user. I think I have one for WordPress. We’re not far from that.

I’m so glad to be here at this point in history.

    Blessings to us all!!

Yes, it seems that the “Web takeover” has made facebook more open to social privacy. Now face book has reduced the public information from the user’s account and user will be able to control who can see their friends and interests. They can turn off their applications without sharing to anyone. But the default setting will be applied to any new application in the user’s account. I feel that the goal here lies in not making user’s information more private or more open but to just bring the necessary changes.

I’ve found Twitter to be a better marketing tool and it’s much quicker to use than Facebook, though I knows others sing the praises of FB.
