Hi really enjoyed reading your article and was wondering I tried to post a youtube video onto facebook, i copied the embed but it didnt post the video only the text?

THanks jack for another Great tip. I am gaining so much knowledge from your book and sites and all the other resources It is crazy.. I started reading the BlackBook at 9am this morning and it is now. 2pm and am not even close to being finished..\

Well thanks again Jack, another problem solved. I knew there was definitely a problem with Wordpress somewhere because that exact thing would happen to me. I would put in a video, view it to see if it looks correct and then when I went back into edit or continue editing it was messed. Just like you pointed out. I have a wordpress.com video blog, which I was planning to switch to wordpress.org. Basically every single post is text along with a video. Would working in this simple mode all of the time be prohibitive in any way? Jack,

For those WordPress users not using Deans FCK editor for wordpress that is a nice solution. But Dean’s FCK editor allows for direct input of the embed code into the source code and away you go. You can edit the post later without messing everything up. I think you can use the insert image button to input the embed code too. http://www.deanlee.cn/wordpress/fckeditor-for-wordpress-plugin/ Great wysiswyg editor.

Deans Permalinks Migration plugin is also great for managing any changes in your pemalink structure
