I’ve talked a lot about FriendFeed and the importance of collecting and mashing up feeds from different sources with feed aggregators. Today I took a look at FeedBite and I like what I see.
Think FriendFeed but with portable widgets.
Two cool uses for this free feed aggregation service are:
1. Public and private feed mashups you can collect and use for research privately or share with people.
2. The ability to turn any feed mashups you create into mobile widgets you can put anywhere on the web.
Now #2 is cool because you can use the widgets to populate your satellite social accounts at places like Weebly, Xanga, and Google sites.
You can also create a cool mashup of news feeds pertinent to your niche and run the widget on a page of your site or blog and have ever updating content. And on as many pages as you want.
I recommending checking this site out. It’s a good one!

Looks like a great tool for gathering info for a blog.
Hello there-
Thanks for posting this tip. You know, I went to the site and created my Account. I inputed some feeds from other blogs, but now I’m trying to figure how to put the widget on blog in order to link it. I can’t seem to find it, ;( any tips on this since you may have some experience with this?
Thanks,
