As a testament to the power of buzz marketing Dean Hunt’s way, my post “Blogging Tips from the Devil” grabbed the attention of Scott Fox.
Remember when I’ve told you about how a good linkbait piece can do all sorts of things for you? This is an example of that. Not only did people Tweet incessantly about the post, resulting in a great deal of traffic, but it caught the eye of someone who has a big following on Blog Talk Radio.
I want you to read Scott’s bio and keep in mind that a great interview resulted from a short blog post that took me maybe 30 minutes tops to write!
“Scott Fox is a successful online entrepreneur, an expert on e-business and online small business marketing strategies, and now an author, radio talk show host, motivational speaker, and e-commerce startup advisor.
He has built multi-million dollar e-businesses ranging from small web site startups, to web sites for celebrities like Bill O’Reilly and Larry King, to the online divisions of major corporations.
His work and book have been covered by press outlets including the Boston Globe, LA Business Journal, Toronto’s Globe & Mail, Wall Street Journal, Philadelphia Inquirer, Orange County Register, Smart Money and SUCCESS magazine,s and many, many radio programs and blogs worldwide.”
Here’s the link to the interview on Scott’s radio show. I’ve never picked apart a blog post line by line before, but it turns out you can get a lot of extra tips out of me that way! Good job Scott, and thanks for having me on!
