It's alaways interesting to hear someone making so much money themselves, without anyone's help and the most amazing thing to make doing just what he likes. It's really inspiring when such kind of job brings you income!

Thank you Jack that was a great, informative interview you had with Rusty. It left me with a lot of ideas on how to develop my new blog.

Can't wait to begin adding the new content.

So much to learn, digest and implement from the interview but looking at Rusty's comment above shows an extra lesson,

"I called him an A**hole and walked out."

Courage!

Sometimes I really wish I could have done the "2-week notice good karma" thing when I quit my job... but looking back, I think I gained some self-respect by just leaving one day at lunch and never going back. The harder part is being sure you made the right decision the few weeks afterward. :)

B2C ratio... hilarious.

Thanks again for the great interview, Jack. Very helpful.

It has been a big help for me to listen to your interview today Jack and Rusty, thanks!

An excellent reminder that "less can actually be more" for the enjoyment and profitability of the blogging that we do, not to mention simplifying things for the visitors to our sites as well.

Kinda puts the fun back into why we are doing this in the first place!

Lead on guys!

Hey man - thanks for believing! Seems the work I do these days is more about getting people to believe, even with all the hard evidence all over the web, than it is about specific tactics. And thanks for being such an open book. Not many people want me "lifting up their skirts" for all the web to see. Not that you wear skirts. Well, I don't know if you do or not... Look, the point is, you rock and don't forget it!

Jack,

Thanks for making it an easy interview. Nothing like my first Interviews out of college! I remember applying for "Good Guys", right out of college when I was 22 (the job market was tough back in the early 90's).

Anyway...the guy interviewing me was trying to use some weird interview style where he was giving me objections about why I wouldn't be good for his company. He also shot down my experience and went way overboard. He wanted me to sell myself on why he should hire me, but he was also trying to intimidate me. I called him an A**hole and walked out.

Hopefully people will take this "blog thing" seriously. I think it may catch on one of these days :)

Thanks for teaching me!

@Nando - Thanks! Although I don't know any other way to "be" on interviews. I'd be in trouble if people demanded more formal interviewing style!
