A Very Cool Twitter Tool

by Jack Humphrey on Dec 22

Don’t yawn!  This is something completely different than you’d expect from a post about yet another Twitter tool.

You know how those 3rd party applications like Tweet Deck (or anything you use to post to your Twitter account remotely) always have a little link under your Tweet like this:

You see, all apps that post to your Twitter account for you get to have a link that goes to their app home page.

Every time you use Tweet Deck, Seesmic, or any other app, they get to have a link.  I guess that’s fair, but what if you and I could have our own link there?

Think of the branding.  Think of the ability to Tweet away and have your most important page of all linked in that space every time you let out a peep!

Here’s what my tweets look like with this new free Twitter tool I found:

Is that cool or what?  Now I don’t have the “marketer’s guilt” of tweeting about anything I want and not linking back to my site, which is a big reason I am on Twitter in the first place.  Every tweet I send has my link on it and I can name it anything I want.  Here, it is “blogging tips.”

For my dog site it could be “dog food recipes.”

You get the idea.

So you see, this isn’t just another Twitter tool.  This app does a rare, important thing to get a lot more out of your Twitter marketing than your average Twitter tools.

Best of all, it is free.  Oh, and it’s called Tweet Brand and it is the brain child of Tammy Fennell, a Twitter maven and smart cookie.

That’s a Clickbank Hop Ad widget you can create at http://clickbank.com. Pretty easy to configure and install. This one runs below posts in the “What Would Seth Godin Do” (WWSGD) WordPress plugin.

Sounds great Jack! The site now redirects to Marketmetweet. I’ve checked out the prices and skimmed a few pages, but can MarketMeTweet change the name of the app as well? If so; I’d definitely consider buying it. Would love to see “eRage” beneath my post everytime!
